escher × comma
two eggs, one clock. on the left, escher — the staircase that always descends and never arrives. on the right, comma — the pump that arrives 21.5 cents lower every time it comes home. their rates are locked: both fall at exactly the same cents per second. only one of them means it. eventually the pump leaves the room; the staircase never does. first pairing of the clutch — the duets live in the spaces between eggs.
